Stripes, Stripes Everywhere

I am loving stripes! I was noticing the other day just how many shirts, pants and sorts I own with varying stripes on them. Too many! But, then I thought, I like to use stripes just about anywhere in a home. So, why can't I wear stripes all the time?? Anyway, back to Interior Design and Stripes. They can help a room look larger, taller or wider and they are a classic decor pattern. Stripes can also be used in ANY room in the home! Here are some ways that you can incorporate stripes into your own home and decor.

• Walls- Wallpaper, paint and decals are all good choices. You can go for subtle, bold, monochromatic or contrasting colors. So many choices. Use horizontal stripes to make a room look wider and larger, vertical stripes draw your eyes up and help to make a room look taller and larger.
